These cabins are truly something special, the favoured accommodation style of the Finnish they may be either, a full log or cut timber cabin. They give the feeling of privacy and 'a home away from home' as they are all unique in their layout and equipment. However, all having the modern amenities and comforts we would expect. These cabins are located around the village, in quiet, tranquil and wooded settings and also within easy walking distance to all areas.
Cabins:
These have various designs and layouts, ranging from open-plan studio style to 3 bedrooms sleeping up to 7 persons.
Open-plan studio style cabins
(4/6) persons) with private shower, wc and sauna. Kitchenette area with microwave oven, fridge and coffee maker. All with a drying cabinet.
2 Bedroom duplex cabins
(4/6 persons) with double and twin beds and a mezzanine level, accessed by wooden stairs (with safety gate at the top) with sleeping facilities for two people. Kitchenette is equipped with electric hob, microwave oven, coffee maker, fridge and some with dishwasher. Private bathroom with shower and wc, private sauna and drying cabinet. Lounge and dining areas with log fire, colour TV some with hi-fi system and some with balcony.
3 bedroom cabins
(6/7 persons) with double and twin beds and a convertible sofa bed in the lounge area. Kitchen with electric hob, oven and/or microwave oven, coffee maker, fridge and some with dishwasher. Private bathroom with shower and wc, private sauna and drying cabinet. Lounge and dining areas with log fire, colour TV, video, some with hi-fi system and some with balcony. Please note: Facilities may vary between cabins and some beds may be the traditional Finnish variety with double bed and single bunk bed above. All cabins have smoke detectors and/or alarms and fire extinguishers.
